It can be used in the smallest make-to-order shops(100 work orders, 15 machines, 40 employees) just as easily as the very largest jobshops: regular PROSPAC configurations support multiple shops, each with up to 32,767 shop work orders, 524,287 operations, 1,023 machines and 8,191 employees. Custom configurations can be created for even larger shops, though individual shops larger than this, organized under one production control manager, have not been encountered.
The following seven products are designed primarily for aerospace/DoD manufacturing, aircraft manufacturing, the aerospace/aircraft subcontractor tier, nuclear power plant/nuclear reactor subcontractors, as well as any manufacturing enterprise, and its subcontractors, who tend to build highly-engineered, complex, high-cost products in relatively low quantities. While the BAREX and LACODAC systems are used in companies other than the ones described here, some prospective customers might find the remaining five systems to be somewhat complex in terms of their basic data requirements and fundamental procedural demands.
The following is a general accounting system designed for almost any organization having up to about 300 employees.
